As Bitso is a regulated crypto platform under the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (GFSC), we are required to comply with this rule, which was created in March 2021 to keep the cryptocurrency industry safe from financial crime.

This means that from September 28th, 2022, when our users send or receive a crypto transaction equal to or higher than 1000 EUR, Bitso will ask for information about who is receiving or sending the transaction.
