How do I invite a friend?

Share your personal link or your 6-character referral code from the Rewards Hub in the app. Your friend can open your link to sign up, or enter your code if they already have an account.

What does my friend need to do for me to earn the reward?

• Sign up with your link, or enter your code within 30 days of creating their account.
• Complete their identity verification.
• Complete their first operation, any digital asset, any amount, within 7 days of signing up.

How much do I earn?

You earn 400 Mexican pesos (MXN) for each friend who completes the required steps. The exact amount is always shown in your Rewards Hub.

Is there a limit to how much I can earn?

Yes. You can earn up to 6,000 Mexican pesos (MXN) in total through the referral program.

Getting paid

When will I receive my reward?

Rewards are processed weekly. You'll receive yours within 30 days after your friend completes the requirements.

Do I need money in my account to receive my reward?

Yes. You need a balance in your account at the time we process the weekly payment. If you don't have a balance at that time, your reward stays pending. Add a balance within the next 30 days and we'll pay it out in the following week's payment.

Does my friend also get a reward?

Right now the reward is for you, the person who invites. Your friend gets an easy start on Bitso.

Codes and links

My friend clicked my link. Do they also need to enter my code?

No. If your friend opened the app through your link, they're already linked to you and don't need to enter a code. The code is only for friends who already have the app, or whose link didn't work.

How long does my friend have to enter my code?

Your friend can enter your referral code within 30 days of creating their account.

My friend's code says it's invalid. What do I do?

Check that the code was typed exactly as shared. Referral codes have 6 characters. If the code keeps showing as invalid, contact our support team. Your friend can keep using Bitso normally while this gets sorted out, but for you to earn the reward, the code needs to be applied within the 30-day window.

Requirements and exclusions

Does a deposit count, or does it have to be an operation?

It has to be an operation. Your friend's first operation, buying any digital asset in any amount, is what unlocks your reward. A deposit alone doesn't qualify.

Are there transfers that don't count?

Yes. If your friend's first operation is funded with a Bitso Transfer sent from your own account, it won't qualify for a reward. Your friend needs to fund and operate their own account.
