Conversions is the easier and more transparent way to buy crypto via the Bitso app or your Bitso wallet on the web. It shows you exactly how much you get and how much you will spend.

What are Conversions?

There are several ways to buy or sell crypto. Most of them involve paying a percentage fee, dealing with a last moment change in price, or waiting some time before your order is fulfilled.

With Conversions, you see the exact rate you get, without any extra fees or surprise changes in price. 

The quote we show you remains valid for 20 seconds, and you decide if you want to accept the order at that price. The quote renews automatically, both after 20 seconds or when you change the amount you want to convert.

Why is the Conversions exchange rate different from the market rate?

We include the cost for converting your funds in the price we quote you. This is why you could see a different rate from the currency's last price. This protects you from sudden price increases, as we will respect the quote for 20 seconds. 

With Conversions, you don't pay any extra fees. What you see is what you get. 

How do I use Conversions?

To use Conversions, simply choose "Convert" in your Bitso app:

You can find the details of your transaction, including the rate you agreed to, in your history under the tab Conversions.
