You can convert your local currency (Mexican pesos, Brazilian reais, Argentine pesos, or Colombian pesos) or Digital Dollars to digital assets, and back, any time from the Buy/Sell screen in the Bitso app.

You need a Bitso account and money available in it before you convert. If you do not have an account yet, create one first: How do I create a Bitso account?. Add funds through a bank transfer: Deposit funds from the app.

Convert to digital assets

1. Open the app and tap Buy/Sell at the top.
2. Enter the amount you want to convert and tap Continue.
3. Review the summary: the amount you will receive and the exchange rate applied. This rate updates every 20 seconds.
4. Tap Confirm to complete the conversion.

Convert digital assets back to your local currency or Digital Dollars

Tap the arrow in the middle of the Buy/Sell screen to switch the currency you are converting from. Then follow the same steps: enter the amount, review the summary, and confirm.

Didn't work? Here's what to do

If the conversion does not go through, check these common causes.

• You do not have enough balance to cover the amount you entered. Add funds or lower the amount.
• The exchange rate changed before you confirmed. Start the conversion again to get the current rate.
