How long does it take for transfers to be credited to the destination account?

"Next-day" ACH transfers take 1 to 3 business days to be credited. "Same-day" ACH transfers are credited the same day if sent before 4:00 p.m. EST.

Wire transfers may take a few hours to process, but are credited the same day if sent before 5:00 p.m. EST.

What happens if the transfer I sent isn't credited?

If for any reason the transfer isn't credited after the aforementioned times, please contact our support team so we can investigate what happened. If you sent funds to an account under your name, request a tracking ID to help us trace the transaction more quickly.

The transfer appears as "rejected." Why?

In most cases, this is because our provider, Bridge, was unable to process the transaction. The amount will be returned to your Bitso account within 24 hours, and no fee will be charged.

Another reason for rejection is if the transfer was for an amount greater than 10,000 USD and was sent to Citibank. In that case, the amount will also be refunded, and Bitso won’t charge any fees.

Your transfer may also have been rejected by the receiving bank. In this case, a processing fee will apply. We recommend contacting your bank before trying again.

Can I make deposits?

Yes. Check the Depositing and crediting article for more information.
