Earnings: what is it? How does it work?

Modified on:

Earnings is a program in Bitso through which you can receive yields every Monday from holding crypto in your Bitso wallet at no cost for you.

Rates will always be visible within the app, so you can check it every week to see how your portfolio is growing!

Asset Balance Annual rate
ETH More than 0  Dynamic
ADA More than 0  Dynamic
DOT More than 0  Dynamic
ATOM More than 0  Dynamic
SOL More than 0 Dynamic
USD 0 - 249 USD 2%
250 - 999 USD 3%
1,000 - 100,000 USD 4%
100,000 USD - onwards Combined rate
USDT 0 - 249 USDT 1%
250 - 999 USDT 2%
1,000 - 100,000 USDT 3%
100,000 USDT - onwards Combined rate

Example 1: if you hold 1000 USDT in your wallet for a year, by the end of one year you will have 1030 USDT.

Example 2: If you have 150,000 in your balance, by the end of the year you will have 154,500 USD, since you will receive 1% a year for 100,000 USD and 4% for the remaining 50,000 USD.

Yields are deposited to your Bitso wallet based on your balance, once you have accumulated:

Asset Minimum accumulated to get a payout
Digital Dollars (USDC) 0.01 USD
USDT 0.01 USDT
ETH, SOL, ADA, DOT, and ATOM No minimum

If you don't accumulate those minimum amounts, you won’t get a payout and those rewards will be carried over to the next week.

To begin earning, you can tap on “Activate Earnings” on the main page of your wallet or on each of the assets page on your Bitso app, available for iOS and Android.
