Before you start:
What is a Transaction PIN?
A Transaction PIN is a 6-digit number that you use to confirm withdrawals you make when you're using the web version of Bitso. It is set when you create your Bitso account and it's similar to the PIN of an ATM.
How to change the Transaction PIN?
First, go to the Profile section, and then, under the Security menu, choose the Account security option.
Once you select Change in the Transaction PIN section, you need to follow a 4-step process. First, you'll fill in your personal information such as the email you used to create your Bitso account, your date of birth, and your country of residence.
After you continue, we'll send a code to your email. This code is available for 30 minutes, and if it expires, you can ask for it again.
Once you enter the code, we'll confirm your identity by sending you another code to your phone number. You can choose if you want to receive it via SMS or WhatsApp.
Then, you'll be able to change your Transaction PIN. Make sure you use only numbers and they're not consecutive or identical.
After that, you'll be able to use your new Transaction PIN whenever you want to authorize transactions on the web version of Bitso.
