Note: The process of disabling your 2FA is currently available only on web. If you want to disable the 2FA because you lost your device, please contact our support team.
Step 1. The process of disabling your 2FA is currently available only on the web. Once you get into the bitso.com/login page, type your credentials.
If you use the app more often, we'll probably ask you to authorize the login process. If you're in doubt about how this process works, please check our article that explains how to authorize a new device.
Step 2. Go to the Profile section and then select "Security" on the side menu. Then, click on the submenu that now appears and select "Account security", where you'll find some information about your account.
Step 3. In the 2FA token section, click on Disable. We'll ask for a 6-digit code that you can find in your 2FA app for the last time.
Step 4. And that's it! After you type in your 2FA code, the feature will be disabled.
Important: The 2FA protection adds an extra layer of security. We advise you to enable it so you give extra protection to your account, but if you don't want to use it, your funds will remain in a safe and regulated platform.
