Why are my withdrawals disabled?

At Bitso, keeping your funds safe is our top priority. After significant changes to your account information, it is crucial to identify and address any potential signs of suspicious activity. This measure helps protect your account in case changes were made by an unauthorized person. That’s why withdrawals are temporarily disabled for 24 hours after a password update.

Keep in mind that this measure has safety purposes only, and it's not related to any external market events.

 

Why is Bitso doing this?

By disabling your withdrawals, there’s a buffer of 24 hours to keep your account protected. In the meantime, we can analyze and investigate if something unusual is going on and take the necessary steps to ensure your account is safe. 

 

If I need to withdraw my funds in less than 24 hours, what can I do?
