Finding the hidden outliers inside Bitso Alpha

An outlier is an observation point that is distant from other observations. Outliers typically occur with large price movements or slippage, and these values can have a disproportional effect on charts.

 

To improve your trading strategy, we created the hidden outliers functionality, also known as outliers. With it, you will be able to improve your trading strategy, so the outliers are literally outside the chart, allowing you to correctly size the axis and reveal the differences in the candles.

 

You can identify where there are outliers in the graph. Supplementary controls, which also hide and show outliers, appear at the top and bottom of the Y-axis.

 

The outlier feature is enabled by default. You can turn it off in the "Chart Preferences" section of the "View" menu in the extended chart
