To deposit Mexican pesos (MXN) to your Alpha account, send a SPEI transfer from your bank in Mexico. The transfer takes a few minutes and has no cost.

Before you start

Bitso's banking partner in Mexico requires a CURP (Clave Única de Registro de Población) on file to process peso transactions. If you don't have a CURP, you can still use your account with cryptocurrencies, but not with Mexican pesos.

Deposit Mexican pesos via SPEI

1. Log in to your Alpha account with your username and password.
2. Go to the balance section on the right side of your screen and select View balance.
3. Find Mexican pesos in the list of currencies and select Deposit.
4. Select the SPEI transfer option.
5. Add the CLABE and account details shown on your screen to your bank's online banking, then send the transfer.

The transfer arrives in your Bitso account automatically. You don't need to request a deposit, and you don't need to add a reference or payment concept, though you can if you want.

Beneficiary name on your transfer

The beneficiary name on the transfer is your personal name. The receiving bank may show up under different names depending on your bank, including STP, Sistema de Transferencias y Pagos, Sist Transf y Pagos, or Sistema de Transf y Pagos. All of these refer to the same system.

Timing

SPEI deposits are credited to your account within 24 hours. Your CLABE is unique to your account, so you don't need to share it with anyone else or generate a new one for each deposit.
