Meta description: Velodrome and Aerodrome have merged into Aero. Find out what will happen to your VELO and AERO balance on Bitso from November 2 to 6.

What will happen to my VELO?
Velodrome (VELO) and Aerodrome (AERO) have merged to form a single project called Aero. This change was decided by the projects themselves, not by Bitso. As a result, VELO will cease to exist and only AERO will remain.

What changes on Bitso?

• Starting November 2, VELO conversions will be suspended.
• Between November 2 and 6, your VELO balance will be automatically converted to AERO.

Note: During the migration, AERO and VELO conversions may be temporarily paused.

How much AERO will I get for my VELO?
Each VELO converts to 0.044 AERO. For example, 10,000 VELO equals 440 AERO. The exact rate is set by the migration contract, so the final result may vary slightly.

I have AERO. Does this affect me?
No. Your AERO balance stays the same: 1 AERO is still 1 AERO.

Do I need to do anything?
No. The conversion is automatic.

When will I see my AERO?
Once the conversion is complete, you’ll see your AERO balance in your Bitso portfolio.
