How to log in with a passkey on Bitso

Modified on:

Enter your email and password as usual. Instead of asking for a code by SMS, Bitso asks you to confirm with your passkey. Confirm with your fingerprint, face or device PIN, and you're in. No code, no waiting.

Logging in from a device that doesn't have your passkey

If you're on a device that doesn't have your passkey, for example a public computer or a new device, you can use the phone where your passkey is saved instead.

  1. On the login screen, select 'Try another way' and choose the option to use another device, or select the QR code option.
  2. Scan the QR code with the phone where your passkey is saved.
  3. Confirm with your fingerprint or face on that phone.

You're logged in on the first device. Nothing is saved on the computer you're borrowing.

Didn't work? Here's what to do

  • If your passkey isn't available or the prompt doesn't appear, select 'Try another way' on the login screen and log in with your authenticator app or a code by SMS instead.
  • If scanning the QR code doesn't work, use 'Try another way' the same way.
  • If you still can't log in, open a chat with our support team.
