Bitso will be discontinuing ACX (Across Protocol) because the asset no longer meets our listing criteria for liquidity and market quality. Trading in ACX will end on September 16, 2026, and any remaining balance will be automatically converted to US dollars (USD) and credited to your account.
What's happening with ACX on Bitso
Buying ACX is already disabled. ACX is currently in sell-only mode, so you can sell your existing balance before the deadline. On September 16, 2026, selling will also end.
Any ACX balance you still hold after that date will be automatically converted to USD at market price and credited to your account. This conversion happens during a liquidation window.
What you can do
- Sell your ACX balance on Bitso before September 16, 2026, if you'd like to control the timing and price yourself. A 5.25 USD sell minimum applies.
- If your balance is below the 5.25 USD minimum, or if you simply don't sell, you don't need to do anything. Your balance will be converted automatically and credited to you after the deadline.
- Deposits and withdrawals for ACX remain disabled throughout this process, so it isn't possible to move ACX on or off Bitso at any point.
Why Bitso is discontinuing ACX
Bitso periodically reviews listed assets to ensure sufficient liquidity, trading activity, and overall market quality. Based on our most recent review, ACX no longer meets our listing criteria.
If you don't sell before the deadline
Your balance won't be lost. It will be automatically converted to USD at the executable market price during the liquidation window, and the proceeds will be credited to your Bitso account. Because of ACX's current market conditions, these proceeds, like those from a manual sale, may be very low.
Moving ACX to another wallet or exchange
Selling before September 16, or the automatic conversion afterward, are the only ways your balance will be resolved.
Your ACX balance remains in your Bitso account until then. It will not disappear at any point in this process.
