Every time you send a digital asset from Bitso to a wallet outside Bitso, you pay a network fee. This fee is not additional profit for Bitso. It covers the cost of processing your transaction on the blockchain network you are using.

Network fees pay for the computing work needed to confirm a transaction and add it to the blockchain. This work is performed by the network itself, not by Bitso.

Bitso charges one flat fee for each withdrawal. This fee includes the network cost and the cost of moving your digital asset out of Bitso. Sending a digital asset between two Bitso accounts does not use the blockchain, so no network fee applies.

Each blockchain network sets its own fee rules, so the fee for withdrawing one digital asset can be higher or lower than for another. Networks that use smart contracts, such as Ethereum-compatible networks, can have fees that change quickly. When more people use the network at the same time, fees on that network tend to rise.
