How do I get MXNB on Bitso?

Modified on:

You can get MXNB on Bitso in two ways: converting Mexican pesos directly, with no fee, or converting any other digital asset or currency at the standard market rate. Only accounts verified with a government-issued Mexican ID can hold a Mexican peso balance. If your account doesn't have this verification, you can still get MXNB by converting other assets at the market rate.

Convert Mexican pesos to MXNB with no fee

If your Bitso account holds Mexican pesos, you can convert that balance to MXNB at an exact 1 to 1 rate, with no fee at all. This means 100 Mexican pesos becomes exactly 100 MXNB.

This is the most direct way to get MXNB, and the only one with no cost.

Convert other assets to MXNB at the market rate

You can also convert any other digital asset or currency available in your Bitso account to MXNB. In this case, the conversion follows the standard market rate, the same way any other conversion between two assets works on Bitso.

Where your MXNB shows up

After converting, MXNB appears as its own asset in your Bitso account, with its own balance, just like any other digital asset.

If a conversion doesn't go through

If a conversion fails, the amount stays in your account and is usually released back within seconds. The app shows an error right away if the conversion did not go through, or shows the transaction as processing if it is still pending.

Failed conversions are resolved automatically in most cases. If a case needs manual review, our team is notified automatically and you do not need to do anything.
