Why is the Crypto Strategies feature changing? 

Crypto Strategies was one of our first steps to help you diversify in an automated way. Today, we are ready to take the next big leap. We are closing this chapter to focus all our technical talent on building much more powerful, faster, and personalized investment solutions that will be integrated directly into Bitso's core ecosystem.

When exactly will it stop being available? 

The Crypto Strategies section will be permanently removed from the application on July 7, 2026. Starting that day, you will no longer see separate strategies within your portfolio, as all your assets will be consolidated into a single space.

Are my funds safe? Will I lose my cryptocurrencies? 

Your funds are 100% safe and secure. You will not lose any of your cryptocurrencies or their accumulated value. This change is strictly organizational and visual within the platform. Your balance in the cryptocurrencies included in Crypto Strategies remains the same and is backed by the same strict security and regulatory measures as always.

Do I need to do anything to move my assets? 

No, you do not need to take any action. The process is completely automatic. Our technical team will handle removing the strategy layer and directly transferring each of the assets (such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, or the cryptocurrencies that made up your strategy) to your main Bitso wallet during the course of July 7, 2026.

Where will I see my assets after the migration? 

You will be able to see your balances reflected directly in your main portfolio within the Bitso app. In addition, you will see this movement recorded with full transparency in your transaction history, allowing you to verify the deposit of the exact funds into your wallet.

Will trading or withdrawal services be interrupted? 

No. Bitso's regular services, such as buying, selling, converting, and withdrawing cryptocurrencies from your main wallet, will continue to function normally and without interruption throughout this process. Only the internal functionality to create or rebalance strategies will be disabled.
