How does the promotion work?
Open your Alpaca account through Bitso, the account you need to buy and sell stocks. Once your account is active, your reward appears automatically in the app. You can use it to get a real share. All eligible users receive a reward, until the total one-million-dollar fund set aside for the promotion runs out.
How much can I get as a reward?
All eligible users receive a reward of between $5.00 and $1,000.00 USD. The amount is assigned by default based on registration order, not randomly.
When will I receive my payment?
Payments are made on Wednesdays. You'll receive your reward the following Wednesday after completing these two steps:
- Activate the campaign in the app's Rewards Hub.
- Complete the registration process for your stock account.
Can I participate more than once?
No. The promotion is tied to opening a new Alpaca account. If you already have an Alpaca account or already received your reward through this promotion, you can't participate again.
Didn't work? Here's what to do
If you activated the campaign and completed your registration, but don't see your reward the following Wednesday, check that both steps are actually complete: activation in the Rewards Hub and registration of your stock account. If both are confirmed and your reward still doesn't show up, contact our support team with the date you completed each step.
