Pix MED 2.0 is the evolution of the Special Return Mechanism (Mecanismo Especial de Devolução defined by BACEN.

With this change, users will have a direct interface in their Bitso app to report infractions, bypassing the need for manual calling.

NOTE: Users will still be able to create Pix MED claims via the current customer support channels.

Where can a user make Pix MED claims?

In the Pix Area, where all of the Pix related features live today. You simply select the “Pix claim” option, select the transaction you would like to claim and follow the in app steps, adding all of the needed information for Bitso to work alongside BACEN to recover the funds.

Note: Only pix transactions performed during the last 80 days are elegible.
