Which network to use to deposit or withdraw crypto on Bitso

Modified on:

To deposit or withdraw crypto on Bitso, use a network Bitso supports for that crypto. Every network in the table below works for both deposits and withdrawals, in every country and for every account.

Why the network matters

If you send crypto through a network Bitso doesn't support for that crypto, it never reaches your Bitso account. Bitso doesn't currently have a way to recover crypto sent through the wrong network.

Before a deposit, check that your sending wallet uses a network Bitso supports for that crypto. Before a withdrawal, check that the receiving wallet supports the network you select on Bitso.

Didn't work? Here's what to do

If a deposit hasn't reached your Bitso account, follow these steps:

  1. Check the estimated completion time in your sending wallet. It varies from network to network.
  2. If that time has passed, the network may be congested. This happens sometimes and is normal.
  3. Check the transaction status in your sending wallet or on the network's block explorer. A block explorer is a public website that lists every transaction on a network. Search it with the transaction hash, the transaction ID your sending wallet shows.
  4. If the transaction is still pending, wait a little longer.
  5. If the transaction shows as completed but the crypto isn't in your Bitso account, check again that Bitso supports the network you used for that crypto. Bitso doesn't currently have a way to recover crypto sent through the wrong network.
