Before you start
- Confirm that the bank you're sending the funds to accepts bank transfers in Mexico. If you're not sure which banks don't work this way, write to us at ayuda@bitso.com.
- Check your monthly transfer limits in your Bitso profile to confirm that the amount you want to send falls within what's allowed for your account.
- Your CURP must be registered and validated in your Bitso profile before making the transfer.
How to make the transfer
- Go to the Wallet section.
- Select Send. You'll see the available options for transferring Mexican pesos from your Bitso account. Select SPEI or Debit card.
- Fill out the form with the details of the account you want to send the funds to: the CLABE account number (18 digits) or card number, the bank, and the beneficiary's name. Enter the amount to transfer and confirm.
You can transfer to your own accounts or to accounts belonging to other people.
What to expect next
If the details you provided are correct, you'll get a message confirming that the transfer was received successfully and will be processed shortly. You can check all your transfers from the History section in your Bitso account.
Didn't work? Here's what to do
If your transfer isn't processed, check the following: that the receiving bank accepts bank transfers in Mexico, that your CURP is validated in your profile, and that the amount doesn't exceed your monthly limit. If any of the destination account details are incorrect, the transfer may be rejected or delayed. If everything above checks out and the transfer still doesn't go through, contact our support team with your transaction details.
