Bitso Transfer lets you send and receive local currency or digital assets instantly and at no cost, using only another person's email, phone number, or QR code on Bitso. You don't need any intermediary to do it.

How to send a Bitso Transfer

1. Log in to your Bitso account and select the currency you want to send from the menu.
2. Select "Send" and then choose "Bitso Transfer".
3. Choose whether to send by email or phone number. This must match exactly what the other person has registered on their Bitso account.
4. Fill in the form with the amount and add a message if you want.
5. Tap "Continue" to confirm the transfer.

Your Bitso Transfer is sent right away, and you'll receive an email with the details.

If the other person doesn't have a Bitso account

You can send a Bitso Transfer to someone who doesn't have a Bitso account yet. They'll get a text message or email with a link to create one. Once they do, the funds are credited to their profile automatically.

Didn't work? Here's what to do

If the other person doesn't claim the Bitso Transfer within 72 hours, the money returns automatically to your account.
