Bitso uses various sources and strategies to generate yields from time to time.
Currently, when you enable Earnings for USD or USDT in your wallet, enrolled assets will be invested in liquid short-term, low-risk instruments, for example, government bonds.
When you enable Earnings on ETH, SOL, ADA, DOT, or ATOM, your yields are generated through staking, a practice in which you earn just by holding tokens. We'll remove all the complexities to set up, fund, and manage staking liquidity so you can enjoy watching your funds grow. One of the advantages is that you can withdraw your balance whenever you want.
We don’t charge fees for being part of Earnings.
The rates can not be negative. Although every asset involved could eventually change their price due to market conditions.
Furthermore, all processes by Bitso are approved and supervised by the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission, the issuer of our Distributed Ledger Technology Provider authorisation.
If you still have doubts, you can always check the Terms of Service and Risk Disclosure in your Bitso app.
