If you want to register a Pix key on Bitso that's already registered elsewhere, follow this portability process.

1. Open the Bitso app.
2. Go to "Pix".
3. Select "My keys".
4. Select the type of key you want to register.
5. Enter all the required information.
6. You'll see the status "Portability pending". You have 7 days to accept the request in the other app where the key is registered.

If you no longer want to register that key on Bitso, you can cancel the request directly in the Bitso app.

Didn't work? Here's what to do

Accepting the portability request happens in the other app, not in the Bitso app. If you can't find the pending request there, contact the other bank or institution where the key is registered.

If the status doesn't change after you accept the request in the other app, wait a few minutes and check your keys list in Bitso again. Contact our support team if the problem continues.
