What is Pix?
Pix is a payment method created by Brazil’s Central Bank. It’s a faster and free way to manage your transactions.
How does it work?
You can make immediate transactions anytime you want.
How can I start using it?
You just need to have a Bitso account available to operate in Brazil and register a Pix key.
What are Pix keys?
Pix keys are used to identify your account. With Pix keys, it’s easier to send and receive funds. You can register up to 5 and these can be: CPF, phone number, email, and a random key. You won’t need to be sending all the bank details.
What are the transaction limits?
You can set the transaction limits for two periods (day and night) and for the type of recipient (a personal account or a business account). Also, you can set specific limits for the Pix Saque/Troco functionality.
Are there any fees?
No. All Pix transactions are free of fees.
Can I use Pix to pay international recipients?
No, you can only use Pix between national bank accounts transactions.
