Pix is Brazil's main instant payment method, created by Brazil's Central Bank. If you have a Bitso account registered in Brazil, you can use Pix to deposit and move money any time, every day.

What Pix is

Pix lets you make instant transfers using a single piece of identifying information, such as a phone number, CPF, CNPJ, email address, random key, or QR code.

How to access Pix on Bitso

On the home screen of the Bitso app, go to the Pix section to find all available features.

To use Pix, your account needs a valid official ID issued in Brazil.

What you can do with Pix on Bitso

  • Transfers: send and receive money in real time, 24 hours a day, every day.
  • QR code: generate a QR code to receive a payment or scan a QR code to send money.
  • Copy and paste: copy the details from one Pix transaction and paste them into another to complete a payment.
  • Deposit: deposit money into your Bitso account at any time, with no time restriction.
  • Charge: share your QR code to receive payments from other people.
  • Cash withdrawal: use Pix Saque and Pix Troco to withdraw cash at registered establishments.

Pix transfer limits

You can set a transfer limit for daytime hours, from 6 AM to 8 PM, and a different limit for nighttime hours, from 8 PM to 6 AM.
