How does Pix work in Bitso?

Modified on:

Pix is Brazil’s largest payment method developed by the Central Bank. It helps people and companies make their transactions instantly and whenever they want.

Pix simplifies the transactions process by sharing only one type of information like phone number, CPF/CNPJ, email, random key or QR code.

In Bitso, Pix’s way of working is super simple. All you need to do is have a Bitso account registered in Brazil and, once already in the Home, you’ll need to go to Pix home. There, you’ll find all of Pix’s functionalities.

With Pix, you can:

  • Send transfers: with the possibility of financial transfers in real time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, PIX is a fast, safe and efficient alternative for financial transactions.
  • Scan QR codes: you can generate your QR code to receive a payment while you can also scan another QR code to send money. All in seconds!
  • Copy and paste: this is a feature that allows you to copy and paste information from one transaction to another.
  • Deposit: with Pix, you can make transfers at any time, 7 days a week and without time restrictions.
  • Charge: in seconds, you can share your QR code to receive a payment.
  • Saque & troco: both Pix Saque and Pix Troco allow people to withdraw money using Pix at establishments registered for this, such as stores.

With Pix, you can define a Pix limit for transfers during the daytime (between 6 am and 8 pm) and nighttime (between 8 pm and 6 am).
