Change your transaction PIN on Bitso

Modified on:

A transaction PIN is a 6-digit number you use to confirm your withdrawals on the web version of Bitso. You set it when you create your account, and it works like an ATM PIN.

How to change your transaction PIN

Go to your profile and, under the security menu, choose account security.

In the transaction PIN section, select change and follow these steps:

  1. Enter your personal information: the email you used to create your account, your date of birth, and your country of residence.
  2. Enter the code we send to your email. This code is available for 30 minutes. If it expires, you can request another one.
  3. Confirm your identity with a code we send to your phone number by text message (SMS).

Once you enter the code, set your new transaction PIN. Use only numbers, and avoid consecutive or identical digits.

Didn't work? Here's what to do

If the text message code doesn't arrive, check that your phone number is correct in your profile and that you have signal. Wait a few minutes, since delivery can be delayed.

If the problem continues, contact our support team.
